These are the shoes that have so far transformed my running routine. Made for feet that over pronate (whatever that means, I haven't looked it up yet), these Adidas Adistar Salvation were worth every penny - and quite a few pennies they were. But it doesn't matter. I ran on the road for a few miles and there was no pain in my shins or knees, and that means these bad boys are awesome.
Next up on my runner's need list:
The Garmin Forerunner 305. Basically a mini computer on your arm, this guy has GPS to track your workouts and distance, a built in heart rate monitor and the ability to monitor your progress. At the cost of almost $200 though, it might be some time before I buy one, but when I get going on my long distance runs, I'll need to know how far I've gone.

Um, is that an engagement ring on your finger? It sure looks like it!
